Our instructor madam Sarasi has organized a workshop on 3rd July 2018 for whole years in B.Sc.Software engineering in University of kelaniya. Our guest speaker was Mr. Srinath Perera, VP research, WSO2  And Mrs. Premila Rajapakshe,President, HRM, WSO2. The workshop was about EMERGING TECHNOLOGY.

He Explain the what are the dead trends like corba, EDI, what are the trends that still we use like API, IOT, BLOCKCHAIN. 

API:- API means Application Programming Interface.We use API probably As back end in these days.

IOT:- IOT stands For Internet Of things. I thing this is not a rare technology. Sometimes you heard this technology. If not you are not a good techie. 

The internet of things, or IOT, is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers (UIDs) and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction.

Blockchain:- We also use blockchain as a service in our industry. Actually this topic is very important topic in these days.The blockchain is an undeniably ingenious invention – the brainchild of a person or group of people known by the pseudonym, Satoshi Nakamoto. But since then, it has evolved into something greater, and the main question every single person is asking is: What is Blockchain?
