What we learn from PPD?

Today i am going to talk about What we learn from PPD during the 1st semester.It can explain in several types.

* Introductions my self

* Paper tower

* cultural programme

In by first i want to explain how we did our 1st day in PPD. Actually it is an self introduction. By person by person we are all went to front and talk about our self. It includes our family background,my personal information, my education qualifications, and extra activities.Exactly we improve our communication skills in that activity. Because we didn't face several times our self introduction of English. That;s why i am thinking That activity improve our confidence and communication skills.

After we faced a outdoor activity that named paper tower. In this activity we grouped several teams and we have to make a tower from 12 papers.It is very enjoy one.It became improve our team work, outdoor skills, creativity and lot more attitude from outside the education.

In the another ppd lesson we did an cultural which we are separate to 3 groups. Exactly we did different type of cultural programme that likes a combination of different different cultures. In our team we did 2017,2030 and 2052 combination of culture. It include one Sinhala song ,one Tamil song and  mixed type of culture activities. Exactly we learn from this how can do a team work withing a small time range it is very difficult and very enjoyable. We use some leaves and branches to designed our cosmetics. I am thinking we learn more thinks and we develop some skills in this PPD programme.

PAPER TOWER!!!

                                                   PAPER TOWER!!!

 Today I am going to post something about what we did in PPD.It is an outdoor activity which is called Paper tower.Unfortunately i miss this opportunity because i had to go to hospital get my medical certificates.I really miss it.But i asked my friends how they did that.

They got 4 separate groups and they had to done make a paper tower only using 12 papers.They tell me that is not very easy one.Because papers are very soft and very difficult to keep up it.This activity may develop Team work,relation between other members.It is very important skill development for
us as future software engineers.I can't talk much thing about this topic.Because i miss it.But i have some idea what is my friend's are said.I want to say something about this in 21th century woman are doing jobs they are have same position of mans.That why our teams already have some girls too.They take idea from girls too.That is very good improvement to us.Basically girls are not like to mechanical engineering site.But they have knowledge.I think because this season some people may change some attitude and thinking type.But already i miss it.That why i find some photos of that day and i like to share those with you.

                                                 

Finally i want to tell paper tower season is very interesting season and we can devolop our some soft skills too.But i miss it i really sad for that and i like to have some comment from you.Thank you!!

What is PPD?

                                        Personal Progress Devolopment

  Today I am going to post something about PPD. Personal progress devolopment we are calling PPD is not a specified lesson in our life.It is similary to our life lessons.As a example we can see in our university education system we are very busy and we have lot of works like exams ,self studies,hackathon,exhibision and etc.In that cause we can't think much more about our soft skill devolopment with our technical skills.Thats why we are always thinking about only technic skills and knowladge.thats why I am thimking we need a PPD lesson as a subject to devolop our soft skills.

In bottom instruduction is show why PPD is important to us and now we can talk about what is PPD? What is do PPD to us?PPD is Personal progress devolopment.It is not a theory part.PPD includes to devolop our

 👉 Communication skills
 👉 leadership
 👉team working
 👉self intruduction
 👉self confidence and lot more atitude devolopment activities.
 

In the personality devolopment should be devolop our atitude.In that cause we are using to devolop our communication skills to speak with others.Mainly In our PPD class we start with self intruduction.In that day in my expierience i am not familier with that.Because we don't use much in English in common world.after that we done severel thinks to devolop our communication skills.Some gaming event we use for that it is really enjoyable and we devoloped our communication skills too.Not only communication skills we can devolop our self confidence too.Because in front of 50 people we talk about severel minites.I am not talking about indoor activities.We done outdoor activies too.That some gaming activities help to us devolop leadership skills,how can lead a team,how can solve a problem with a team.I think it is very usefull to us built our career by proffesional in someday.We can devolop that soft skills and qalities to our life.This is my thought about personal progress devolopment what are calling PPD.
