OUTBOUND TRAINING-TRINCOMALEE NAVAL CAMP

Today i am going to post about an very interesting event.It held on 9th and 10th December,2017.It is and outbound training at Trincomalee. It very Special for me. Because its my hometown. However to this training camp we all participated 84 students and 3 lecturers. Software Engineering 1st year batch and Software Engineering 2nd Year batch are involve as students.

  

Following picture shows who are participated to that camp.In the 9th of December we departure from our campus at 3.00am  to the trincomalee. We have to get 2 buses for that journey. In the morning 10 O'Clock we arrive to the Trincomalee Naval camp. It contain aroud 850 Acres. After went the camp we get the lunch at base at 11.30. After that we started our activities in coral beach which is located in the Naval camp. We did lot of fun games in that place.First we separate to 4 groups. Alfa.Bita,Bravo and Chalie. I am at the group Bravo.First we done a boundary game. That game has a cycle that bounding by   something they called that boundaries are electricity. Each group 6 members should  pass that boundary.That was an amazing game. After that we did many games and it was very funny games and we are really enjoy.But i missed some games that day because i have my finger scratched because of PODICAP. Actually PODICAP is a rain court to the miltary man.Since 5.00 pm we did various activities and fun games in that day. Very special thing is we didi that activities with our senior bath mates. Actually that was an fantastic experience to us. 

After the those activities at 6.30 pm We have a talent concert at that beach. Really that was amazing. Before i am said we separate into 4 groups. Group wise we did various things around 8.30 pm.As the group Bravo We sang a group songs and we act a small drama. Actually i have a one character from it. It was very amazing night and we really enjoyed.After the having lunch we finishes our days work and we get our living places. Day 2 started with our breakfast at Naval camp and 2nd day we did a jungle work. As the 1 st day we separate into 4 groups and we did a jungle work with our team and 2 navy officers. That journey 2.5 Km and it was 3500 steps far. After having great experience with map and compass we arrived to our target. After that we visit to the    Naval museum. It has long time history goes to king Parakramabahu. That place have lot of more thinks, Mortars, LTTE terrorist's weapons and etc. After having lot of we knowledge we  departure from that place and have our lunch. In that place we get a group photo with that officers.

Actually we are really enjoyed and we learn more things about team work , leadership and various things. Actually i want to thank Mrs, Sarasi to coordinate this camp and i think  its very good experiences to us.  I;ll shared some videoes of our camp after this post.Thank you.
